Christiaan has always loved exploring the truth. He was raised to question everything and honestly search for answers. He graduated with a degree in International Studies from SPSU and holds a Master of Divinity in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Paul’s interaction with the Stoics and Epicureans on Mars Hill inspired him to make honest conversations the foundation of his ministry style. He finds tremendous joy in walking alongside others on their journey of discovering the truth. Asking others questions, listening to their experiences, and loving without an agenda during and after their search for truth energizes him more than a cup of coffee.

Christiaan is especially thrilled for the opportunity to serve students at Bread Emory through his love of cooking, excitement for games of all sorts, and passion for storytelling. With everything going on in the world and life, students, now more than ever, need authentic community, a place to experience the love of Jesus, and the freedom to have honest conversations with someone who cares about them exactly where they’re at… but too much for them to stay there.
